Located in Sherwood, Oregon, Heart 2 Heart Farms focuses on sustainability, supporting their community, and education. On site, you’ll find greenhouses, rabbits, pigs, calves, chickens, and even a peacock. They also offer alpaca and yak meat, raised off site, for sale. Full Belly Fare has recently added yak from Heart 2 Heart Farms to our menu.

Lyla recently had the opportunity to visit Heart 2 Heart Farms and learn about the work they do first hand. While she was there, she was also able to feed calves and visit piglets. This video is a fantastic introduction to the farm, what they do, and how they work. We were deeply impressed the first time we saw it, and we think you will be too.

One of the most impressive things about the owner, Tyler, and Heart 2 Heart Farms is their desire to make homesteading, permaculture, and self-sufficiency more accessible, while also operating a free food pantry several times each week, and creating a CSA that truly focuses on community.
